Synopsis Focus on “Consolidate Performance, Capacity and Storage”

HPC customer, trying to solve even larger, more complex problems in still lesser time require powerful Itanium2 servers with effective Linux Cluster stack.

Hewlett Packard is awarded the largest capacity (9 TeraFlops) Itanium2 Linux Cluster at USA Department of Energy’s Pacific NorthWest National Labs. Discussion on the Hardware and Linux Cluster configuration will be presented.

Some early experiences in building this systems, some early results, etc will be presented
