Scope	General
Synopsis	This is an attempt to let people know what GUI programming on linux is all about. It intends to make clear the different fundamental aspects of X-lib programming including things server&client, event handling ...etc. It also would help newbie programmers to program GUI.
Speaker Profile	I have a B.E degree from B.M.S College Of Engineering, Bangalore. I'm still on the blug-programming list. I'm currently working on developing gui libraries for Larsen & Toubro on a VxWorks system. I'd like to present the XLIB and its widget libraries in my talk !
