Vinod Unny is the founder and owner of Enterprise InfoTech – a technology solution company in New Delhi, India. He has been working with computers and related technologies since 1984.
Vinod has been an avid computer enthusiast since his school days. He has won scholarships and accolades from institutions he has studied in for his computer skills and knowledge. He also won the second prize in an international contest on web application programming back in 1999.
A voracious reader, Vinod also is a regular and known writer in many publications. He writes regularly in India’s leading computer technology magazine and occasionally in publications such as DataQuest, Computers@Home and Indian Express. The topics of his articles cover all areas of computer technology – the Internet, networking and security, handheld devices, programming and enterprise level IT implementation.
Vinod has also been a public speaker in many different forums. These include topics such as “Web Development Under Linux” in IT.COM 2000 Bangalore, “Programming using Linux” during the Caldera OpenLinux Launch in New Delhi, “.Net and C#” seminars held in 6 cities in India along with Microsoft, “Web Services” seminars again in 6 cities in India with Borland and “Internet and E-Commerce Security for IT Managers” for the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). Talks in various educational institutes in India on various technical topics is a constant process. |
